Ask about a sliding scale

Many therapists, including some in private practice, adjust their fee to your income. If cost is a barrier, it is okay to ask whether they offer one. See What to expect for the insurance terms and the questions to ask your plan.

We list independent community resources to help you find support. Being listed is not an endorsement, and details can change, so please confirm hours and availability directly with each organization.
